Finish the assignment, a graphic organizer, in which you show the differences in high and low context culture.  Zach suggested a Venn Diagram in which the middle section shows your personal characteristic which will likely be some combination of both. Good idea.

Complete the personal survey to determine if you are more high or low context. Bring it to class with the numbers calculated and set to go.

Hi Everybody,

I missed you today eventhough I was just across the hall in Room 207. Mr. Rebb and I are working hard on the Social Studies curriculum and he helped me a lot with some software problems I was having.  We got to go out to lunch which, as you can imagine on such a beautiful day, was a big treat.

Thanks for cooperating with Mr. Deiter and Greta, our guest speaker in Economics.

I’ll see you on Monday, (unless I see you at the Gala on Sunday). Be good till then.

with love,

Ms. Bucci

After reading,  “ Size Bias as a Social Construction” students should list the ten most important facts and include these when they write a shorter version (three hand-written and double-spaced) as if they were explaining it to a 7th grader. Bring drafts on Wednesday.
