Come back to school with your Study Guide on the Constitution completed. Prepare for an oral review of the Study Guide worth points.

Review both Checks and Balances and Federalism in your textbook. Thursday will be the only day before the test to really understand these principals and systems.

Review Chapter 5 Section 3 in preparation for a note-taking marathon!!!!

Take notes and complete the assessment on Chapter 5/Section 1-”Creating the Constitution.

Be sure that you have solid answers to all of the questions in your Background Papers to share on Monday. Email me over the weekend if you need help.

Detroit Projects due Wednesday, October 6^th, 2010

Each group will plan a presentation to the rest of the class which will include the following:

1. Participation/presentation by each group member

2. Explanation of wall display

3. Two page handout containing but not limited to-

a. a short description of your topic

b. data and or/statistics

c. a map pointing to affected locations

d. description of any controversy about your topic

e. where it stands today and where it is headed in the near future

f. bibliography

4. Explanation of the handout

Be prepared for questions from the students and teacher.

7th Hour-Be ready for your final.

3rd and 4th hours-bring your final questions

Both the 5 paragraph paper (with an introduction and conclusion), as well as the Iceberg drawing on Hmong culture is due tomorrow.

Seniors who haven’t already taken the final, use your time well to get ready in class.
